Dear Friend, Yesterday, 650+ Charleston community members came together to sing Hatikvah, hear from our community rabbis and friends in Israel, and pray for the safety of our people at the - Charleston Stands With Israel - solidarity gathering. Israel and our worldwide community have faced inestimable losses over the past days. Difficult days lie ahead. But we gather strength and hope from each other and from our resilience. Chazak Chazak v’nichazeik, Be strong. Be strong. And we will strengthen each other. |

A special thank you to law enforcement who made last night's event safe for all of us and continue to ensure the safety of our community. Through our SCN Charleston Jewish Community Security Initiative, CJF has been in constant contact with the FBI, Homeland Security, and local police. We will continue to provide updates, training, and resources to our local Jewish institutions. |
