Back to School Supply Drive - Volunteer to Pack Bookbags - August 9th-11th
As part of the Jewish Communal Response to Hunger, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Charleston collaborates with grassroots neighborhood organization Concerned Citizens of Peninsula/Lowcountry, and each of our local synagogues to collect school supplies for students in need.
On this Tuesday, August 9th, Wednesday, August 10th, and Thursday August 11th at 6 pm, we will gather together with our partners to pack school supplies into bookbags, which will be given out on Saturday at the main event.
Volunteers will help pre-pack bookbags for children and their families. Refreshments will be provided. Thank you for being so generous with your time and resources.
