Both our U.S. senators and both members of our U.S. House representing Charleston have issued strong statements of support for Israel and condemning the horrific massacre of innocent Israelis perpetrated by Hamas terrorists. Please thank our Senators and Representatives for standing in solidarity with Israel and our Jewish community.

Urge Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham to support the following actions: 1) Continue U.S. support for Israel, 2) Increase funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP), 3) Support the bipartisan Regional Integration and Normalization Act (RINA) to strengthen efforts to normalize relations between Israel and her neighbors and build a more prosperous, peaceful life for all, and 4) Act expeditiously to confirm President Biden’s nominee for U.S. Ambassador to Israel.

Urge your Member of Congress to support the following actions: 1) Continue U.S. support for Israel and 2) Increase funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

Thank you for your strong statement of support for Israel and condemning the horrific massacre of innocent Israelis by Hamas terrorists. I greatly appreciate your standing in solidarity with Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East, and with our Jewish community.

I respectfully ask you to continue your strong support of Israel as the nation defends itself and its inhabitants from attack. U.S. support for Israel would be greatly enhanced by confirmation of President Biden’s nominee to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Israel, and accordingly, I urge you to vote for confirmation as expeditiously as possible. In that vein, the bipartisan Regional Integration and Normalization Act (S.2413) would strengthen efforts to normalize relations between Israel and its neighbors in the Arab and Islamic world by building people-to-people connections, a sense of shared purpose, and a more prosperous, peaceful life for all. I strongly encourage you to support this important legislation.

At this difficult time of heightened tension in the Middle East and increasing antisemitism, our Jewish community depends on security measures to keep ourselves safe. The current level of funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP), a critical tool for safeguarding our Jewish community, has not been sufficient to meet the need. Please support an increase to $500 million in fiscal year 2024 funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.
